But Canada has always shown resilience, and we will do so again. Our strength is our unity.
President Trump threatens our economy and way of life, but we will not be intimidated. Americans do not want this trade war with Canada, and when they feel its effects, they will react. Until then, we must stand firm and protect our future.
In these difficult times, leadership matters. Mark Carney is a brilliant economic strategist and a committed Canadian. Under his guidance, we will overcome this crisis and emerge stronger. Mark is the leader we need to stand up to Trump.
A government led by Pierre Poilievre would pose too great a risk with his MAGA and divisive policies. Meanwhile, the Bloc remains powerless to protect Quebec’s interests. More than ever, we must be united across Canada, not fueling divisions. Quebec must have a strong voice within the government – a voice capable of standing up to Trump and defending our culture and values with determination. With your support, I will be that voice – for Pontiac, for Quebec, and for a stronger Canada.
We must act with ambition: strengthen our economic and food autonomy, build the strongest economy in the G7 – a united Canadian economy, not thirteen separate ones – and deepen our ties with Europe, Asia, and Africa, while defending our values on the international stage.
